South Hams estate agency Marchand Petit is one of the main sponsors of Salcombe Crabfest 2020 on 3rd May, along with the award-winning holiday letting agency Coast & Country Cottages and famed distilling company Salcombe Gin.
Ed Tallack, Marchand Petit Director at their Salcombe office says, “Marchand Petit is absolutely delighted to sponsor the 2020 Crabfest. It is truly a wonderful event and a fabulous opportunity for the town to open its doors and show off everything it has to offer.
“This year marks Marchand Petit’s 30th anniversary so what better way to celebrate than by helping to raise funds for the many worthwhile causes, whilst enjoying ourselves at the same time?” This year the exciting line-up of confirmed chefs coming to do free demonstrations is bigger and better than ever before. Currently the list includes the Rick Stein’s Executive Chef, Stephane Delourme, the Rockfish Group Head Chef, Kirk Gosden and BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen chefs Freddy Bird and Jane Baxter.
Other returning chefs are the Oyster Shack’s Andy Richardson, Ocean’s head chef Janey Syrett and winner of the 2020 Trencherman’s Award for ‘Best Newcomer’, Jamie Rogers of Twenty Seven in Kingsbridge.
The free to attend event is entirely in aid of charity. Over the past five years, the festival has raised in excess of £40,000 for local organisations. This year, the event will be raising funds for local Dementia and Alzheimer’s organisations. Don’t miss it!
