Sharman Quinney boss retires

Steve Quinney imageSharman Quinney Managing Director, Steve Quinney, has retired after 26 years at the helm of a branch network across Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire.

Steve Quinney formed Sharman Quinney with Joint Managing Director Mike Sharman in 1989, opening in Peterborough. The business now has a 20 strong branch network. A partnership with the Connells Group in 2003 enabled Sharman Quinney to grow even further, launching high end property brand Hurfords and acquiring Pattison Lane in 2006 and Gilbert & Thomas in 2015.

“The time feels right for me to retire when the business has recently celebrated great results, is in great shape and is set to continue to have a bright future,” says Steve. “Sharman Quinney is an authentic and inspiring success story, one that I’m incredibly proud to have been part of and I am so proud of what Mike and I have achieved together. Our business has enjoyed more than its fair share of success, delivered outstanding results, adapted to change, produced many great people and helped develop many successful careers. Thank you to all those people that have helped build our successful business and to those who will take the business forward to even greater success in the years ahead.”

Mike Sharman, will be taking direct responsibility of the company remaining in his role as Managing Director for Sharman Quinney.
