Tara’s first tandem skydive

D. Dunk Lewis & Graves skydiving imageTara Cummings from D. Dunk Lewis & Graves completed her first Tandem Skydive for Leukaemia & Cancer Care on the 6th September at Skydive GB in Bridlington, East Yorkshire.

Tara wanted to raise money for the charity because her father-in-law, Jim, has suffered for the past 10 years. She was joined by her niece, Amber Neal, Jim’s granddaughter.

Tara was attached to her instructor Alec Fling. She took a brave jump out of a perfectly good plane at 10,000 feet, free falling at around 125mph. In Tara’s words, “the view is amazing and I cannot put into words how much I enjoyed the experience. I can’t wait to do it again. Alec was fantastic and relaxed me all the way from start to finish. D.Dunk, Lewis & Graves was the main event sponsor and came along to support us.

Tara and Amber raised £742 and Tara’s now thinking of what to do next for the same charity – maybe Wing Walking in 2017!
