The Venture Properties Tour de Branch, rode into town on 20th August, with 25 cyclists (staff, family and friends) set off on their most punishing challenge yet, in aid of the Great North Air Ambulance Service.
From Venture Properties’ Chester-Le-Street office, the team cycled 41 miles and after an exhausting but fantastic seven hours of pedalling, the team gathered in Darlington for the last leg. Event organisers Dan Stephenson and Matthew Laverick-Elliott crossed the finish line first. Matthew said, “This is the first year of our Tour de Branch, it was a huge success. All the riders, the youngest aged 16 and the oldest 63, completed the 41 mile route, I say a huge thank you to everyone – riders, sponsors and helpers, raising £3433 for the Great North Air Ambulance Service, a wonderful local charity.” Venture is looking forward to doing even better in 2018!”
