Oliver Valentine 22, from Chorley, has passed his apprenticeship in business administration, from Runshaw College, to become a full-time member of the team at Home Truths Estate Agent.
The agency, which has offices in Eccleston and Coppull, brought Oliver on board as an apprentice in business administration in 2019 and the team were delighted to celebrate Oliver’s achievement in completing his apprenticeship.
Oliver has developed a range of essential business skills, including liaising with law, conveyancing firms and local county councils across the country, booking and arranging searches, and more recently, Oliver has been training to become a letting agent, for Home Truths, to assist the busy lettings team. He said, “I had been looking for a business administration apprenticeship once I’d finished my studies at college. I really like dealing with local solicitors and conveyancing firms and I feel I’ve built a good relationship with many of them.
“The pandemic has reaffirmed that we should not take things for granted, whether it be your job, your friends or your family.”
John Ascroft, Home Truths Director, said, “Oliver has been a real asset to the business. At Home Truths, we believe that apprentices should have a real job which benefits the business as well as providing invaluable experience for the apprentice too. Oliver has brought a mature and professional approach to the role.”
