Woodcock Holmes supports music education charity

Woodcock Holmes Estate Agents in Peterborough, selected the city’s unique music education charity Peterborough Sings! to benefit from the proceeds of their race night at the ABAX stadium, supported by the local business community.

Guests enjoyed a fish and chip supper and entertainment by a magician throughout the evening, as well having the opportunity to bet on and buy virtual horses. The terrific atmosphere, fantastic delivery by the Woodcock Holmes team and the enormous generosity of the guests resulted in an unprecedented £6000 being raised for Peterborough Sings.

The link between the charity and Woodcock Holmes came about when one of the firm’s founder partners, Adrian Woodcock, took part in the Peterborough Sings! Men United in Song project supporting Prostate Cancer UK in 2016. Adrian says, “it was an incredible journey: there were so many highs, from singing at Stamford Arts Centre to performing with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in Peterborough Sings! is doing amazing work in the city and it is an absolute pleasure to be able to support them in this way”.
