LSL has announced that it is the latest estate agency to set up an employee forum to tackle a range of issues within the group’s many agency brands concerning under-represented groups.

This includes Reeds Rains, Your Move, Marsh & Parsons and the nine smaller estate agencies within its LSLi division.

Discussions will include LGBT+, disability, race and gender and the forum will openly discuss issues with the aim of reporting its conclusions and making recommendations for consideration by the Group’s management.

LSL has also set up a second forum to support employees’ fund-raising activities for charities and other activities within their local communities.

Like its Inclusivity and Diversity Forum, the Communities Forum will determine its areas of focus and will report its conclusions and make recommendations for consideration by the Group’s management.

Driving change

“Both will play a pivotal part in driving change within the business and, importantly, ensure that employee views and opinion are captured and can continue to be acted upon,” says David Stewart, LSL’s Group Chief Executive Officer (main pic).

“The establishment of the forums is an important step forward for the LSL Group and demonstrates the importance we place on our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) framework which we launched last year with a particular strategic focus, at the moment, on diversity and inclusion, communities as well as the environment.

“We’ve been delighted with the response from colleagues so far and, with forum meetings already underway, the Board are looking forward to hearing their views, opinions and ideas to help in shaping LSL for the future.”
