Dan is a Solicitor at Legal For Lettings with over 10 years’ experience in Landlord and Tenant Law. He is also an associate lecturer on the LLB at Lincoln University.
Dan qualified as a Barrister in 2014 and his specialism in landlord and tenant law began immediately thereafter. In addition to his legislative expertise, he has a wealth of courtroom advocacy experience, having represented landlords in courts all over England and Wales.
After working as a self-employed advocate, Dan became the in-house advocate for a nationwide firm of Solicitors and advocacy provider which specialises in landlord and tenant law. He subsequently became the Head of the Landlord and Tenant Litigation Department, as well as an advocate trainer. He has also delivered training via conferences and webinars to landlords, letting agents and insurers.
In 2023, Dan joined Legal For Lettings; the solicitors firm retained to provide legal services for landlords and their agents by Homelet and Let Alliance.
Dan has handled a wide range of housing dispute matters and developed litigation experience by drafting pleadings as well as providing written advice on niche points of law. He has successfully represented clients on appeal cases in disputes relating to all manner of landlord and tenant legislation and regulation.
