Rameen Sorkhabi is the Co-Founder & CEO of LightWork AI, a London-based PropTech company redefining how property operations are run through intelligent automation. With a background spanning AI research, finance, and applied machine learning, he focuses on building practical AI systems that embed directly into daily workflows, reducing friction, improving decision-making, and enabling teams to operate with greater agency and efficiency.
Before founding LightWork AI, Rameen worked at activist hedge fund Cevian Capital; and on Amazon Prime Air’s autonomous drone delivery programme as a Machine Learning Data Associate. His experience at the intersection of autonomy, data, and business operations informs his approach to designing AI that doesn’t replace human judgement, but amplifies it.
Rameen holds an MSc in Economics & Management from the London School of Economics and a BSc in Economics from the University of York. Drawing on his first-hand exposure to inefficiencies in property management, he is now focused on how agentic AI will transform service industries, shifting from static tools to proactive systems that anticipate needs, resolve issues autonomously, and reshape the future of agency itself.
