Branch manager cites ‘difficult lettings’ sector as firm is sold
Coastguards Lettings in Bognor Regis has been bought by West Sussex independent firm Henry Adams, with staff and properties transferred over.

Independent property agency Henry Adams has boosted its lettings portfolio in the Bognor Regis area following the acquisition of a respected single-office business, which has cited a ‘difficult lettings market’ for the sale.
Coastguards Lettings (main image), owned by Bryan Fry, has served the Aldwick area for many years and earned a loyal following among landlords and tenants for its friendly, traditional approach and strong local knowledge.
Its team and portfolio will now integrate into the Henry Adams Bognor & Aldwick operation.
Service continuation
Ian Wiggett, CEO of Henry Adams, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Coastguards Lettings into the Henry Adams fold. Their long-standing commitment to personal service very much mirrors our own, so it was a natural fit from the outset.
“We look forward to supporting their landlords and tenants with our wider resources while maintaining the values that have made Coastguards Lettings such a well-respected local name.”
Phil Davis, who managed Coastguards, said: “In an increasingly difficult financial climate for private lettings, the decision to join a larger local firm became apparent. Ian Wiggett and his team at Henry Adams have been very professional and extremely helpful with the transition, which augers well for the future.”
Over the past year, Henry Adams has achieved a Platinum Feefo rating of 4.8 out of 5, based on more than 420 reviews and continues to seek opportunities for further growth and expansion.
