Cyclists are magic!

Intrepid cyclists from Spicerhaart raised £70,000 for the Magic Moments charity, to take children from UK hospices to Disneyland Paris.

Nine of the 40-strong group cycled right across the country from west coast to east, riding 254 miles in three days. En route they were joined by cyclists from Cardiff to Bath (63 miles) and from Clapham Common to Colchester (74 miles), with the ride culminating at the company’s headquarters.

MD Russell Jervis said, “It was an incredible experience, one I’ll never forget. Day two was particularly gruelling, with 10 hours in the saddle through driving rain and a head wind, covering 117 miles. But we battled through, giving us all he most amazing sense of achievement when we reached the end.”

Chairman of the Trustees for Magic Moments, Jonathan Martin, said, “I would like to say a huge thank you to all the cyclists who took part, all those who helped and sponsored us and to the event organisers Maximum Adventure.”
