Young estate agent killed in M25 pile-up
Seven people have been released on bail after they were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

A 23-year-old estate agent from Redbridge has died following a four-vehicle collision on the M25, with seven people arrested and later released on bail as investigations into the incident continue.
Aliyah Hoque died at around 7.50pm on Good Friday – 3rd April – on a busy anticlockwise section of the M25 between junction 29 at Upminster and junction 30 at Aveley in Thurrock.
The Romford Recorder reported that six men aged 20, 21, 26 and three 19-year-olds, along with an 18-year-old woman, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following the collision.
The collision involved a HGV and three cars – Ms Hoque’s BMW 1 Series, a Land Rover and a Vauxhall Astra estate – bringing traffic to a halt along the affected stretch of motorway.
Inquest opened
An inquest into her death was opened at East London Coroner’s Court on Friday, 17th April.
Senior Coroner Graeme Irvine said: “Ms Hoque was the only occupant of her vehicle and succumbed to her injuries.
“Information provided by the Metropolitan Police Service was that Ms Hoque’s death is being investigated as part of a wider investigation into dangerous driving due to the actions of other drivers on the road at the same time.”
