The proptech lettings company makes its seventh purchase this year with Settio, which has clients in 17 countries.

Dwelly-Settio

Proptech lettings platform Dwelly has made its seventh acquisition this year, extending its reach into international markets.

This time it has bought Settio, a real estate investment and portfolio advisory platform, with clients in 17 countries.

The acquisition adds more than 2,000 fully managed properties to the Dwelly network and brings with it offices in Manchester, Birmingham, London, and Singapore.

The scale of the deal takes Dwelly’s portfolio under management to an estimated 14,000 UK properties.

Reputation

Settio has built a reputation as one of the UK’s leading investor-focused property businesses, managing more than £600million of property assets.

Dwelly says the addition of Settio provides an established international platform, extensive overseas investor relationships, and a significant presence within the Asia-Pacific market.

Earlier this month, it confirmed the acquisition of Cheltenham-based lettings agency Elliot Oliver.

Settio is a hugely important acquisition for Dwelly.”

Sam Humphreys, Head of M&A at Dwelly (pictured centre), says: “Settio is a hugely important acquisition for Dwelly because it represents something entirely new for the business.

“Settio has built an exceptional international platform, connecting investors from around the world with opportunities across the UK property market. Through impressive organic growth, the business has established a strong reputation that extends far beyond the cities in which it operates.”

Position of strength

Samuel Fitz-Hugh, Co-Founder of Settio (pictured left, with fellow founder Chris Parsonage on right), says: “From the outset, our ambition was to build a business capable of supporting remote and international investors through every stage of their interaction with the UK property market.

“We’ve always prioritised client experience and transparency in a sector known to lack in both.”

He went on to say: “Joining Dwelly allows us to continue that journey from a position of strength.”
