British-run Dubai agency brings fast-paced style back home
Strada, which was established four years ago and is now one of the better-known agencies in the UAE, is establishing a brokerage in Britain.

One of the fastest-growing and aggressive Dubai estate agencies run by Britons is set to establish a team back in Blightly.
Strada was founded by Gary Allen and Chae Simons in 2022 after they both spent several years working in the emirate for other companies, including Allsopp & Allsopp.
It has revealed that following a cold-start in Miami, it is to also establish an operation in Britain covering the London, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, York and beyond property markets.
The company operates as a brokerage with agents who work via its branded platform supported by an app that organises viewings, meetings and provides leads. The company is both a traditional estate agency selling luxury homes in Dubai and an investment adviser to those seeking to buy new build properties in the UAE and beyond.
Its modus operandi will be familiar to anyone who has watched the many TV shows about the Dubai property market, including dog-eat-dog competition for instructions, high-end business attire, busy open-plan offices and tough morning sales meetings, as Strada’s YouTube channel documents regularly.
Replicate
Derry Mathews (main photo), who is heading up the British team, says: “Our ambition is to replicate the success Strada has built in the UAE and bring that same expertise and approach to the UK market.
“With Chae Simons leading the business as Chief Executive and my five years of experience in property investment, we have a strong foundation to build on.
“My focus is on establishing strong developer relationships, building a knowledgeable UK team and connecting our international client network with quality investment opportunities.
“We see significant potential in the UK and are committed to building a trusted, recognised brand that delivers long-term value for investors.”
