Online estate agency with 520 properties to launch Seedrs crowdfunding campaign
Nu:move says it is profitable but wants additional funds to help it recruit more regional agents and fund a national advertising campaign.

Nu:move, an online ‘new model’ estate agency that claims to be the ‘No.1’ of its kind in the UK is to begin a crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs.
Investors are being invited to pre-register for the campaign which seeks to raise funds to expand its chain of national and international franchisees in all the UK’s major cities, and invest in an advertising campaign.
It claims to fill the gap between traditional agents and online ones and says it is profitable. Its website features 840 overseas properties for sale plus 500 sales properties and 40 rental homes in the UK.
The company already has 15 regional representatives in the UK all but two of which are outside London and has marketed 10,000 properties since it started up in 2013, although it does not reveal how many of these it has sold.
15 local agents
It has representation in Blackpool, Doncaster, North Wales, Stockport, Medway, Warrington, Newcastle, Kent, Lanarkshire, Wakefield, Leeds, Essex, Hounslow and Cheshire.
The company, which is based in Telford and Canary Wharf in London, is a family-run business with a five-person head office team. It currently has 520 UK properties advertised on its website.
“The Nu:move business strategy is simple – we market properties online and provide a local service with a personal touch, which is affordable for all homeowners without compromising on standards of service,” its Seedrs pitch page says.
The company offers vendors a dual approach to fees; either a flat rate fee of £699 plus VAT or 0.5% with a minimum fees of £1,195, both paid post-completion.
