Merrrrrry November! Christmas comes very early for one letting agent

Photos for a house to rent in Essex reveal a family keen to embrace the festive spirit but also ensure their home gets rented in the New Year.

Are there any agents out there who think Christmas starts a bit too early these days?

It’s only November 15th but the inevitable (but loveable) John Lewis Xmas TV ad has just landed, complete with a fire burping, Christmas-pud lighting dragon, preceded this week by other heart-string pulling ads from ASDA, Iceland and Sainsbury’s.

But one estate agent has had to engage more (and earlier) than others with Xmas.

Spare a thought please for Lawrence Anthony Homes in Rayleigh near Chelmsford in Essex, which has just won an instruction to let a three-bedroom terraced house.

The pictures for the property, which is available for £1,300 pcm and was uploaded yesterday to Rightmove, comes ready for Christmas with a distinctly purple theme including a huge Xmas tree, several stockings hanging on the mantlepiece and snowflakes on the wall.

No mention is made of the move-in date for the property, which is presumably in the New Year, or at least 12 days after Xmas.
