Spicerhaart has appointed a former Connells senior to be MD of four of the firm’s key estate agency brands including haart, Haybrook, Butters John Bee and Darlows.

36-year-old Daniel Ansell (main pic, right)  is now heading up its Taurus Chapter, which includes the agencies, as well as ensuring the smooth running of all key business relationships.

Ansell arrives at Spicerhaart from Connells, where he worked for ten years during which he rose from a Senior Branch Manager to an Area Director, having previously worked at Countrywide starting out as a trainee negotiator.

“When I first started talking to Spicerhaart, meeting the people and learning about the culture, I knew if I was lucky enough to secure the role, I would take it with both hands,” he says.

“This is an incredible opportunity and I am looking forward to helping people realise their potential, both personally and for the business. My ambitions are to grow market share and profitability while ensuring our teams have a great environment to work in.

“I’ve overcome a few challenges in my life and I understand how difficult it can be for some people, but I’m here to help and support others and if I can help others to overcome things in life that seem impossible to deal with then I am happy.”

Competitiveness

Spicerhaart Group Managing Director Antony Lark (main pic, left) adds: “I am delighted that Daniel has joined the Spicerhaart team. During our meetings, his competitiveness and passion shone through and I am excited to see what lays ahead for his Chapter.”

In his spare time, Daniel loves watching and playing sport, gardening and being a great dad to daughter Perrie-Rae, 8, who he cites as his inspiration.
