A recently-launched business acquisition consultancy founded by former estate agent Lucy Noonan says it has helped 28 deals go through over the past eight months, with another 70 in the pipeline.

Operating under the radar until now, the launch of her business Atomic Consulting follows a 20-year career within the property industry.

This includes a variety of big names including Hunters, Belvoir, LSL and until October last year, the fast-expanding Lomond Group where she was Mergers and Acquisitions Director.

Noonan says she launched the consultancy to offer ‘constructive, practical, honest and affordable support to lettings and estate agency businesses looking to grow via acquisition, or those looking to sell’.

The services offered include business valuation, consultancy, and full end-to-end acquisition project management.

“I’ve worked in multiple agencies, including the big corporates, and I’ve seen all the pitfalls and challenges that come with buying and selling letting agency businesses.

“After 20 years in the industry, I know what it takes to deliver a successful acquisition.

“I have built a team at Atomic Consultancy that is solely focussed on customer experience and on delivering results, and a team that has the skills required to add real value at the heart of every business we work with.”

Recent deals she is prepared to go public on include the acquisition by Zest Sales and Lettings of Trustease Property Management in Bristol, Panorama Properties in Bournemouth which was purchased by the Martin and Co group and KIS Lettings in South Shields which was sold to local independent My Property Box.

“Our model is to ensure our clients get the best price for their business and that means not solely selling to the big corporate agents.”
