Growing estate agency launches in-house financial services firm
Hat and Home's new operations will be an appointed representative of PRIMIS and offer mortgages, protection and insurance products.
The founders of three-branch Berkshire-based agency Hat and Home have launched Milliner Financial Services – a mortgage brokerage headed by Directors and Co-founders Ben Gee and Luke Strzadala.
The choice of name is no coincidence either. A milliner is a hat maker and was chosen as a homage to the Hat and Home estate agency brand.
LONG TERM RELATIONSHIPS
The firm will offer mortgages, protection and insurance products with a focus on creating client relationships for life. Milliner is an appointed representative of PRIMIS Mortgage Network which is part of the LSL group and responsible for one in nine mortgages in the UK.
Director Ben Gee (main picture, left) says: “Milliner is focused on developing long term relationships with our clients and our marketing is centred around that journey.
“The brand campaign (pictured right) illustrates how Milliner will always be on hand to help and makes the mortgage process easier when working with a trusted adviser.”
Director Luke Strzadala (main picture, right) adds: “When choosing a partner to act as an appointed representative for, PRIMIS was an easy choice.

Teresa Williams (main picture, middle) joins Milliner as their first mortgage and protection adviser from Embrace Financial Services, also part of PRIMIS.

Milliner – like Hat and Home – has a special relationship with Parkinson’s UK and has pledged to donate £10 to the charity for every completed mortgage as it joins Hat and Home in raising £200,000 by 2026.
