The Newton family, who are familiar faces in the East Midlands property world, has launched a new estate agency called David Grace Estate Agency and has acquired an established lettings company – East Midlands Property Management (EMPM).

Mark Newton (centre of pic), who has over 50 years of estate agency, says: “This is a very exciting opportunity for our new brand, David Grace Estate Agency, which is a Newton Family Estate Agency business.

“I am Chair of the new business, with David Newton (left) as MD and Grace Newton (right) as Sales Director.”

Revealing the details of his agency’s new acquisition, he adds: “East Midlands Property Management, which has branches in Westgate, Grantham and Cartergate in Newark, has been quietly and professionally managing some of the very best properties in the area for 39 years.

Operate as normal

“The business has a total of 462 rental properties under management and the branches in Grantham and Newark will continue to operate as normal under the East Midlands Property Management brand, in association with David Grace Estate Agency.

“I am pleased to confirm that we are retaining all nine members of staff across both branches, which means that tenants and landlords will experience no disruption or change to the management of their properties. Clients will be interacting with exactly the same team that has managed their properties so effectively in previous years.

David Grace is a family business that will bring some very new, innovative and fresh ideas to the market.”

“East Midlands Property Management is currently a lettings only company, and over the coming months we are looking forward to introducing a residential sales arm to the business through the David Grace Estate Agency Brand.”
