Property industry senior joins virtual ‘For Sale’ sign app

Integra’s Michael Day has been signed up by new geo-location app Homing In, which enables house hunters to see a map around them including digital boards.

Industry senior Michael Day has taken on the role of Strategic Adviser to a new geo-location property app called ‘Homing In’.

Day brings with him extensive industry experience – he was a former board director at Connells and a key figure in the formation of Rightmove and is currently MD of Integra Property Services.

The geo-location app uses virtual For Sale and To Let boards that appear on Google Maps as users move around a neighbourhood, revealing nearby properties for sale or rent without the need for them to enter complex search criteria and bypassing the portals by sending users directly to the estate agent’s website.

I have chosen to get involved as, whilst there is a lot of exciting talk about the use of AI in property search, many enquiries, as agents will testify, come from the use of For Sale and To Let boards.

“In my career, I have been closely involved in a number of ‘prop tech’ ventures, including the creation of Rightmove in 2000 when I was a main board Director at Connells and the development and ultimate sale of lettings platform Teclet, where I was a NED, to OnTheMarket in 2021.
