Purplebricks has confirmed that it will publish its long-awaited full-year results to the City on Tuesday morning next week (August 2, 2022).

The firm had been due to report its results for the year ended 30 April 2022 on July 12th but delayed the release by a month due to an internal reorganisation.

Purplebricks previously claimed it needed the extra time to complete the audit due to additional procedures arising from new processes and controls it had put in place over the last 12 months.

The tech-led agency is sticking to its previous indications of adjusted EBITDA of a loss of £8.8m for the year on revenues of £70m, following a 31% slump in instructions.

Previous internal processes had led to £3.6m of deposits being incorrectly handled and it is still facing court action over the nature of its employment contracts.

DELAYS

Chief executive Vic Darvey left the company in March this year and was replaced by Helena Marston in April. But her much-publicised appointment was delayed while background checks were made as to her ‘appropriateness’ for the job.

Marston had been with Purplebricks for two years, first in the role of HR director and then chief operating officer. When she presents to the City next week this will be her first PLC results report as a CEO.
