Lambo-driving councillor under pressure over undeclare property firm interests
Council's former Licensing Chair Farhaan Rehman comes under pressure over past directorships in property-related companies, with local Conservatives demanding a full investigation.

London Labour councillor Farhaan Rehman (pictured), who resigned form a key committee at Hounslow after his Lamborghini car was twice found parked in disabled bays at its offices, is facing scrutiny over undeclared roles in companies that own and rent private residential properties.
Directorships
Companies House records show he previously served as a director of TW3 Services Ltd, Fafr Properties Ltd, and Eminence Investments Ltd, resigning from all three between 29 and 30 January 2025.
The firms were registered for ‘real-estate activities’ including buying, selling and, in some cases, letting or managing property.
According to the Local Democracy Reporting Service, Councillor Rehman’s register of interests did not include the directorships. A spokesperson for Hounslow Labour told the LDRS: “The Labour Group has received assurance that Cllr Rehman’s Register of Interests is fully up to date.
Although previously listed as a director of three companies, these companies never became active beyond registration. Cllr Rehman has insisted that he never undertook any work and did not benefit financially before he resigned as a director in January 2025.”
Residents will rightly feel this excuse doesn’t wash, and his position as a councillor is now untenable.”

Conservative councillor Jack Emsley says: “Not only is it a legal necessity for councillors to publish an updated list of interests, it is doubly important for someone who, until just a few weeks ago, chaired Hounslow’s powerful Licensing Committee… residents will rightly feel this excuse doesn’t wash, and his position as a councillor is now untenable”.
The Conservatives have now lodged a formal complaint with Hounslow Council, which has been passed on to the Deputy Monitoring Officer for assessment.
