Vive la Vente: Hamptons hosts global property gathering in France

Hamptons’ International Private Office welcomed luxury property brokers in Cognac and Angoulême for an exclusive event.

Hampton Private Office Event in FranceFollowing the success of last year’s global real estate gathering in Dubai, Hamptons’ International Private Office again brought together some of the world’s leading luxury property professionals for an exclusive event in France.

The gathering, co-hosted with French partner Leggett Immobilier, in Cognac and Angoulême, coincided with the legendary Circuit des Remparts vintage motor racing weekend.

Delegates flew in from key prime property hubs including the UK, France, Dubai, Oman, Barbados, Jersey, Spain, Geneva, Portugal, New York and Thailand. The purpose was to strengthen relationships, share insights and open doors to new opportunities for high-net-worth clients.

A global perspective on luxury markets

Over the course of the weekend, Hamptons’ Head of International, Leal Ignatius, led discussions exploring trends across global luxury markets, while Leggett Immobilier showcased French opportunities, from vineyards and stud farms to Parisian pieds-à-terre and Riviera retreats.

Ignatius commented: “It was a privilege to work with our partners, Leggett Immobilier, and gather our most talented and well-connected agents. Hosting this event reflects Hamptons’ commitment to delivering exceptional service in the luxury real estate market, with the sole aim of providing our clients with a truly global experience.”

The programme mixed business and culture, including an exclusive Cognac tasting at Martell’s private château and trackside access to the Angoulême races.

Joanna Leggett, Marketing Director at Leggett Immobilier, added: “From Cognac tasting to the thrill of vintage motor racing, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. We have already begun building exciting new business relationships and look forward to continuing these collaborations.”
