Propertymark has revealed its latest line-up of estate agency leaders following the secret ballot to elect the Vice Presidents for both ARLA and the NAEA.

At its annual AGM and Presidents Dinner in central London, Propertymark presented its two new Vice Presidents to a small group of members.

These are Maxine Fothergill of Gravesend firm Amax Estates and Kirsty Finney of Rodgers & Finney in Belfast.

The two will now be Presidents of ARLA and NAEA Propertymark respectively in 2021 after first being President Elect and then getting the top job.

This year the President at ARLA is Phil Keddie of Sunshine Lets in Exmouth, Devon with Vice Elect Richard Selwyn of Belvoir in Welwyn and St Albans. For the NAEA its Lauren Scott as President with Ian Westerling, the former Managing Director of Humberts, as her Vice President Elect.

At the event revealing the new line ups, which also approves Propertymark’s Annual Report and Accounts, Maxine Fothergill, who stood against London letting agent Darshan Sunger, said she wanted to see more letting agents join ARLA.

The Annual Report presented at the meeting showed that while NAEA’s membership reduced by 260 to 6,828 during 2018, at ARLA membership increased by 263 to 9,210.

Kirsty Finney stood unopposed for the role of Vice President of the NAEA and said soon afterwards on social media that to say I am chuffed is an understatement; this journey is going to be like no other [and] I am so excited for the next three years and cannot wait”.

Her agency, Rodgers & Finney, was the Silver award winner at the most recent Negotiator Awards for Northern Ireland.
