An online ‘find a property management company’ service that enables landlords to choose local letting agents by price and performance has launched and already has 300 branches signed up.
Claiming to be a ‘game changer’ for agents, RentRound.com is the brainchild of financial services and property management professional Rajdeep Dosanjh who has involved Foxtons, Purplebricks and Haart for its launch.
A landlord can use its website to canvass local agents near to their properties and see which ones offer the best service as voted by other landlords, and also see ‘best offers’ on price.
London-based Dosanjh (pictured, above) says he wants to make it easier for landlords to find a good local letting agent and help agents reduce the cost of their marketing.
Landlord lead
At the moment the service is charging £30 a month to agents to receive leads from three postcodes, but in some areas it is offering them a free supply of landlord leads if they try out the service.
“I had noticed how it was difficult to find good local property managers in the different areas I had houses when using Google to search for them,” he says.
“I also discovered that a lot of the services that offer landlords leads take a significant slice of the agents’ income, so I believe a fixed-price listing model will be attractive to agents.
“There is a huge gap in the market for an affordable service that brings landlords and agents together. And that’s what RentRound aims to do.
“Our ratings system will also help the good agents who use us to stand out; if you don’t service your clients in the way that you should be, then you’ll be ranked a lot lower on our site and get fewer leads.”
