Industry’s woolly, mammoth, Xmas charity fundraiser!

Hundreds of estate agents around the UK joined in Friday's Save the Children #ChristmasJumperDay to raise cash for the charity. Here are some of the pictures of the jumper jamborees.

It was hard not to spot, but Friday last week was #ChristmasJumperDay and estate agents around the UK embraced the Save the Children initiative with gusto, with hundreds taking to social media to sport their festive but cheesy attire.

Typical of the day’s Yuletide effort was Beresfords’ head office staff (pictured, above) who raised £168 for the charity by wearing Christmas jumpers to work, which was then matched by the company.

“We are humbled to be supporting this fantastic campaign it’s appalling to think of the defenceless children living in poor and unsanitary conditions,” says Nicki Treffers, the company’s Senior Group Marketing manager. “We are delighted that as a company we are able to raise awareness of this ongoing issue.”

Charity Save the Children last year used funds raised in the UK to support 63 million children in 63 countries. So far it has raised £16 million and an estimated 17 million have taken part including, this year, a wide range of jumper-sporting celebrities including Philip Scofield, Billie Piper and Eamon Holmes.
