Acquisitions and departures
Hamptons International has snapped up Patterson Bowe property and lettings agency operating in Knightsbridge, Kensington and Chelsea. Established over 25 years ago, the central London based independent agency has built a reputation as one of the most successful Lettings Partnerships in the heart of the capital, and it is the strength of the firm’s lettings portfolio and the combined specialist client service offered by its staff that ultimately appealed to Hamptons International, according to Lesley Cairns, the company’s Head of Lettings. Cairns said, “We are delighted to have acquired Patterson Bowe; one of Prime London’s most esteemed Lettings agencies. Through organic and acquisitive growth, the lettings division at Hamptons International has doubled in size over the past eight years and today’s acquisition reflects the company’s strategic plan to further expand its market share. “We are very much looking forward to welcoming staff and customers of Patterson Bowe into our organisation, who as new employees and clients of Hamptons International will have access to a wealth of benefits and opportunities that come with being part of a large network.” All members of staff at Patterson Bowe have already joined Hamptons International’s Knightsbridge branch. New appointment at Hamptons International
Hamptons International has strengthened its Prime and Country House department with the appointment of Ruth Wilkinson to the Winchester office. Having lived and worked in Wiltshire for over 20 years, Ruth is an experienced estate agent who will focus on the prime market in Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset for Hamptons. The team’s approach to the sale of Prime and Country Houses utilises Hamptons International’s wider network of sales offices in central London, and the principal cities and towns across the southern counties. Working alongside the experienced heads of offices in these counties, Ruth will offer a bespoke and personalised service to both sellers and buyers. Ruth said, “I am delighted to have now joined the team in Winchester and be in a position where I can use my knowledge of the area and the market to best serve our clients and deliver an exceptional service. Hamptons already has a very successful London and Country House Department and by placing a practitioner specialising in the top end of the market in the Winchester office we combine the knowledge and personal service of a local agent and the prestige and reach of an international brand.”
