Portico’s four new stars

Aklyma Bibi (right), who joins as a New Business Consultant, has over nine years’ experience in a range of independent estate agents. Grazyna Kotorba (left) joins the Head Office finance team as an Accounts Consultants, coming from Chase Evans. Ebony Campbell-Grant (right) takes up her role as an Inventory Clerk, joining from an independent inventory firm. Romans’ new senior roles
The Romans Group has devised a new role with the task of sourcing opportunities for all areas of the growing business, with the appointment of Nigel Deller, a specialist Business Development Consultant. Nigel joins Romans after being involved in the residential property market across Berkshire and North Hampshire since 1976, in estate agency and in sourcing land for the development of new builds, and the conversion of commercial and redundant farm buildings. Working closely with Romans’ land and auctions teams, Nigel will use Romans’ diverse framework of property services to source leads for potential land development, auction lots with regards to probate, letting investment and mixed use, and find new letting acquisitions. As well as working closely with the auctions, new homes, surveying, and lettings divisions, Nigel will be liaising with Romans’ network of 27 local branches, and networking with professional contacts to achieve similar goals. The Romans Group has also appointed Peter Tappin as Land and New Homes Manager based in Guildford, covering Surrey, Sussex and North Hampshire. David West has joined Robinson & Hall as an AMC Consultant, with strong experience and an in-depth understanding of the rural finance sector, having worked for Lloyds Bank for the last 40 years. His last role as a Regional Agricultural Manager saw him work with many farmers and rural based businesses in East Anglia for the last 15 years. David will further strengthen the AMC work that the Colchester and Ipswich office undertakes. Alex Munro, who has experience in all areas of planning and development, ranging from his time as a local authority officer through to project managing strategic development proposals, joins the Bedford office as a Senior Planner. Alex ran his own successful company providing planning advice and support to rural communities. Bell Ingram’s buoyant start
Bell Ingram has announced the appointment of a new estate agent and a property assistant, boasting 37 years of industry experience between them. Carl Warden and Moira Webley, both from Perthshire, will be based in Bell Ingram’s Perth office, focusing on properties. Carl and Moira, who first met more than 35 years ago as family friends, have joined from estate agents Savills UK, where they had worked for the last nine years. Carl’s passion for property began whilst undertaking a traineeship at Stewart Wise Ogilvie in 1989 and he has since accumulated over 27 years of experience in the industry. Moira has worked across the legal and property sector for over 30 years.
