If you’re wondering where Theresa May bought the clothes for her controversial meeting with Nicola Sturgeon on Monday then a Henley agent may have the answer. In her ‘Diary of an Estate Agent’ column for local newspaper the Henley Standard, senior sales manager Margaret Connerty (pictured, right) yesterday revealed that last Thursday Henley’s high street was awash with police as Theresa May went shopping at her favourite clothes boutique. While previous PMs including David Cameron have relied on fashion gurus to give them sartorial guidance, three years ago the then Home Secretary Theresa May told Desert Island Discs presenter Kirsty Young that her fashion choices were her own.
