The Guild of Property Professionals has signed an exclusive deal to partner with referencing and insurance platform The Lettings Hub whose services will now be offered to the organisations 800 member agencies.
Peterborough-based The Lettings Hub is already one of the market leaders in the lettings services sector and claims to help 20,000 tenants move home every month.
It was founded in 2013 by Heidi Shackell, who before establishing the tech firm was Commercial Director of Martin & Co and before that worked at HomeLet.
The Lettings Hub recently spent four weeks travelling around the country with The Guild’s tour of the UK during May including events in Exeter, Croydon, Bristol and Doncaster.
“Our strategic partnership with The Lettings Hub will give our members access to some of the very best quality and innovation in the sector, enabling them to develop a ‘market leading’ lettings proposition” says the Guild’s CEO Iain McKenzie (left).
“Our robust strategy as a network is to give our members a competitive advantage in their locations. This will certainly do this.
“With the tenant fee ban that came into place earlier this month, it is imperative for lettings agents to find services and products that help them win more business whilst creating more opportunities for them.”
The Guild currently faces a takeover challenge from a City hedge fund that has backed Purplebricks. Earlier this month it was announced that Toscafund is to offer shareholders in eProp, the parent company of the Guild, 50p a share, valuing the overall group at £17.85 million.
