Zoopla kicks off its latest multi-million pound marketing campaign tomorrow – the biggest in the company’s history – with a new TV advert starring an exuberant older brother.
Actress Diane Morgan provides the voiceover once more for the ad, which aims to position Zoopla as the first choice for home movers and to drive even more leads to agents.
The new advert, tagged, ‘We know what a home is really worth’, hopes to capitalise on a market buoyed by the recent introduction of the stamp duty holiday and the release of pent-up demand following the lockdown.
Airing for nine weeks across primetime TV slots, the 30-second ad starts with a hip-hop soundtrack featuring Billy who’s dancing happily around his bedroom because, by finding their home on Zoopla, his parents were able to buy one with an extra bedroom, so he no longer needs to share with his little brother, Dylan.
Rich Houston, Zoopla head of consumer marketing, reckons it will get consumers talking, driving them to choose and use Zoopla and its agent partners for their next home move.
Says Houston: “It’s no secret that the market has rebounded with genuine strength since lockdown. For Zoopla, this means it’s time to double down on our marketing investment and amplify that boost for the ultimate benefit of our agent partners.”
He adds: “We look forward to hearing what our agent partners think of the advert, and to build on the double-digit boost to sales and valuations that we’ve already delivered to our agent customers since lockdown was lifted.”
