Strictly spectacular raises £18,500

The much-anticipated Agents Giving Charity ball unveiled its Strictly Star last month at its annual event that also recognised the outstanding fundraising efforts of the property industry.
Danielle Lanthier from Paramount took home the Agents Giving glitterball trophy. She said, “I’m thrilled and humbled to have won Agents do Strictly – I still can’t believe it! It was a rollercoaster of an experience and I’m so thankful to have been a part of it. The win is great, but I think the best thing I’ve taken out of this is having faced the fear of getting up in front of hundreds of people to perform. I’d do it again in a heartbeat”.
Fellow competitor, Katy Poore of Thomas Morris, may not have won the dance competition, but did go home with the Outstanding Contribution Award for her relentless drive to support charity and local community.
It was one of the many awards handed out to fundraising champions across 11 categories. During the course of the evening at The Epsom Downs Racecourse, guests enjoyed a live band and a charity auction run by Andrew Parker of SDL Auctions. Donations were made by numerous companies in the property sector and raised a further £18,500.
David Newnes, Chairman of Agents Giving, added: “The Agents Giving Ball was an opportunity for the industry to come together for a night of glamour and celebration.”
