Estate agency Sheldon Bosley Knight (SBK) has made its first acquisition of 2024 and added another lettings book to its expanding portfolio.

Midlands-based SBK swooped on Warwickshire-based Charles Saville Limited and sees it adding more than 150 fully managed properties to its books.

Estate agency

Charles Saville Limited was established in 1984 in Stratford-upon-Avon and quickly built up a reputation as a high-quality lettings agent with tailored, personalised service as standard.

Currently run by director Nicola Morris (main picture, left) the business has built a significant following, with 75% of its portfolio coming by word-of-mouth recommendation. Its client base covers Stratford-upon-Avon, South Warwickshire and North Cotswolds.

Mike Cleary (main picture, right) of SBK, says: “I am honoured Nicola has chosen Sheldon Bosley Knight to hand over the reins of her estate agency.

“I have got to know her over the last four years and it’s clear she’s run a tight ship enabling her to build an excellent lettings agency and in fact I believe it to be one of the best in Stratford.”

PERFECT FIT

And he adds: “The acquisition itself is a perfect fit for us as our core values of putting the client first and excellent customer service are very much aligned.

“We are delighted her staff will be joining us and we wish Nicola all the very best for her new life.”

SBK, which celebrated its 180th birthday last year, has more than 180 in-house staff in offices across Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Worcestershire, the West Midlands and the Cotswolds.

The Neg told in October how SBK had acquired its fifth business in as many months after buying Leicestershire-based Andrew Granger & Co for an undisclosed sum.

That deal saw SBK add a lettings department of approximately 1,000 properties alongside a busy sales operation which lists approximately 400 properties each year.
