Spicerhaart graduate caitlin and paul smithKeen boxer, Caitlin McGahern, has become the 150th graduate from the new state-of-the-art Spicerhaart Training Academy in just three months.

Caitlin, 20, joined other new starters from across the country on the two-week induction programme at Spicerhaart’s HQ in Colchester, enjoying first-class training aimed at driving the highest standards in sales and lettings.

She will join the Butters John Bee team in Winsford, Cheshire, and said there were many parallels between the world of estate agency and getting into the ring.

“Both require a lot of focus, and a lot of discipline,” she said. “I can’t wait to get into the branch and put everything I have been working on to good use.”

Squaring up to company founder and Chairman Paul Smith, she added: “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Academy and have learned a lot – it’s been a brilliant experience.”

Ambitious plans

Since the opening bell rang three months ago, there are already plans to double the size of the training space next year, allowing even more people to take part.

Paul Smith said that the Academy had been a huge success and had quickly become the leading training programme across the industry.

“The Spicerhaart Training Academy has been a bigger success than even we could have ever imagined,” he said.

“Our Academists are proving to be our secret weapon. Their performances when they touch down at their branches are far beyond our highest expectations and I know Caitlin and her colleagues from this intake will continue to punch well above their weight, too.

“The centre has been so fruitful for us that next year we are going to double its physical size, and therefore our monthly intake.

“Investing in people is the way forward in agency and is a sure-fire way to drive results.”
