EXCLUSIVE: Proptech sells off inventory firm founded by lettings agents
Plentific has confirmed that it's sold TouchRight to a London landlord three years after it acquired the lettings software firm off Terry and Rachel Lightfoot.

A leading lettings software firm has been sold by a big blue-chip proptech just three years after it bought the business.
TouchRight, which was founded by former estate agents Terry and Rachel Lightfoot in 2012, was sold by the couple to Plentific for an undisclosed sum and their tech incorporated into Plentific’s overall property management tech suite in January 2022.
Lettings staff using TouchRight are able to create a host of bespoke property inspections reports including inventories, midterms, check-ins, check-outs, HMO and Legionella Risk Assessments via a few simple clicks.
The company has continued to operate as a standalone business since the 2022 acquisition with its own website and apps.
£72 million
At the time Plentific said TouchRight’s capability was a good fit for its business. It is a leading supplier of residential property repairs and maintenance software both in the UK and Europe. It raised £72 million from investors in 2021.
Most of its customers are the big corporate housing providers including in the UK L&Q, Peabody, and Notting Hill Genesis.
The Neg can reveal that Plentific has now sold TouchRight to a North London businessman called David Roth. Company House records reveal he is a portfolio landlord and property manager.
He and his wife Miriam are now majority shareholder in TouchRight via their company Manorprime following the change in ownership, which went live on 12th May.
The Neg has approached Plentific for comment but its spokesperson declined to comment.
