Soccer star scores new job as an estate agent
After a stellar career in football, the Scottish Cup winner has pledged to give his all to the property industry.

Dundee United hero, Sean Dillon, has kicked off a brand new career in estate agency.
Dillon, who helped his team win the Scottish Cup in 2010, has joined Dundee-based estate agency Tula Property.
The defender told The Courier: “I’ve always been interested in property and I’m now qualified to assess energy performance certificates (EPCs).”
He was said to be a very popular figure at Dundee and, in his new role, is aiming to build a similar rapport with Dundee’s homeowners.
You’re wanting people to see that you know what you’re doing, and when someone is selling their house, you hope they give you a call.”
He says: “It’s all about trying to get people to trust you with their property. You’re wanting people to see that you know what you’re doing, and when someone is selling their house, you hope they give you a call.
“We want people to be confident, so when something comes up, they’ll give you the nudge to help sell the house.”
Can-do attitude
Dillon, however, hasn’t entirely given up playing football. The 42-year-old Irishman is still registered as player and first team coach for Scottish League One club Montrose and has already played for them 241 times.
This season has not started well, as he was injured in a warm-up game, although he says: “Even if I’m not selected, I’ll be in the dugout helping as much as I can.” It is the kind of can-do attitude that should serve him well in his new role.
