West Berkshire estate agent Jones Robinson has become a major sponsor of The Rosemary Appeal – a fundraising initiative set up to raise money for a new cancer and dialysis care centre at the West Berkshire Community Hospital.

Jones Robinson will be making direct financial contributions to the appeal, as well as actively promoting the campaign and running various events of its own to fundraise.

The significant appeal was set up by the trustees of two local charities – the Newbury & District Cancer Care Trust and the Newbury & Thatcham Hospital Building Trust.

Charles Robinson, Director said, “Jones Robinson has always been at the heart of the West Berkshire community – in a personal and a business sense. Lending our weight to The Rosemary Appeal was an instinctive thing for us to do – it’s always satisfying to give something back to the community in which we live and work.”

Jones Robinson has already made its first donation to get the partnership off to a great start, although there are more fundraising and awareness efforts in the pipeline. “We’ll be dual branding all the communication that leaves Jones Robinson,” adds Charles. “That means our emails, letter heads and website will carry a prominent reference to The Rosemary Appeal, with a direct call to action for people to get involved and donate and we’ve created a Rosemary Appeal task force to co-ordinate our efforts.”
