Galliford Try Partnerships, has submitted plans for a £14.2 million, 105-apartment scheme to be built on Princess Road, Manchester, a key arterial road linking to Manchester City Centre. The mixed-tenure homes will offer an exciting alternative to the traditional housing seen within the area.

Designed by Northern Quarter-based architects IDP, the new apartments will provide well-designed housing with the aim of drawing in new and local residents into what is already a very popular neighbourhood.

The building will step in height along Princess Road, creating an interesting streetscape up to a maximum of six storeys. The red brick design will complement the surrounding buildings in a contemporary manner, adding to Manchester’s urban fabric. Pending planning approval, Galliford Try Partnerships will begin work onsite in early 2018, with the development set for completion in summer 2019.
