All good cheer at Andrews & Robertson

Andrews & Robertson ended its 2017 calendar of auctions on a high with a strong 82 per cent sale.
With Christmas just around the corner buyers were evidently in the mood for spending at the Andrews & Robertson’s auction held this week at The Montcalm Hotel, London, W1H. In excess of £15.9m was raised from the sale of 66 lots, reflecting an 82 per cent success rate.
The highest value lot was a freehold three floor, five bedroom end of terrace house on Glengarry Road in East Dulwich, SE22, offered with full vacant possession. The lot, guided at £760,000 attracted strong bidding which then achieved £852,500 under the hammer.
Andrews & Robertson Chairman and Principal Auctioneer, Robin Cripp said, “We are delighted to round off our 2017 auction calendar with a buoyant room full of keen bidders attracted by a diverse selection of investment and development opportunities. 2017 has been a challenging year for the property market but throughout we have worked hard to secure strong results for our vendors and end the year retaining our position as one of the UK’s leading property auctioneers. Going into 2018, the outlook for the Auction market looks positive”.
Andrews & Robertson’s first auction of 2018 will be held on 22nd February at The Montcalm Hotel, London W1H.
