Online auction group Network Auctions has rebranded as BTG Eddisons Property Auctions after being acquired by the national auctioneer.

The London-based company recently became the fourth business to join BTG Eddisons, following North West-based Pugh & Co, SDL Property Auctions in the East Midlands and Yorkshire firm Mark Jenkinson.

The three other companies were brought together under the new unified national brand in February.

Largest business

The addition of Network Auctions creates one of the UK’s largest property auction businesses, bringing together “regional expertise with a nationwide reach”, according to BTG Eddisons.

BTG Eddisons Property Auctions will now bring around 350 lots to market each month, spanning residential and commercial property lots, as well as land and development opportunities.

Operating under a single national brand enables us to deliver greater reach and resource to our clients.”

Andrew Parker, Partner and Auctioneer at BTG Eddisons Property Auctions (pictured), says: “The addition of Network Auctions further strengthens our offering to a diverse client base, including businesses, private individuals, local authorities and other public sector bodies seeking to unlock value from surplus assets.

“Operating under a single national brand enables us to deliver greater reach and resource to our clients, while Network Auctions benefits from the scale of the enlarged platform and access to BTG’s wider financial and real estate services.”

Toby Limbrick, Director of Network Auctions, says: “We’ve built a strong reputation in the market over the years, and becoming part of BTG Eddisons Property Auctions gives us the platform to take that even further.

“It means we can offer our clients greater reach, more resource and access to a broader range of buyers, while still delivering the same personal service.”

The unification of the auctions businesses forms part of the wider rebrand of Begbies Traynor Group to BTG. Eddisons, the Leeds-headquartered property consultancy acquired by the group 11 years ago, has also been renamed BTG Eddisons under the changes.
