Fine & Country’s charity fashion show

Fine & Country's charity fashion show imageBerkhamsted’s Fine & Country raised over £7,500 at its first Fine & Country Fashion Show, hosted at St Peters Church on 23rd November in aid of The Hospice of St Francis.

Fine & Country’s Managing Director, Jan Foo and her team, organised the event and welcomed 350 guests. The church was transformed by a production company providing spectacular lighting, a 56ft catwalk and sound.

Key to this event was the coming together of the community, the high street and independent fashion retailers who brought their collections to take to the catwalk, providing accessories and evening wear, bikinis, hats and bridal. The glam squad included Castle Hair, Cecily Day Spa and Dee Dashwood.

After a VIP champagne reception hosted at Fine & Country, a red carpet and torches greeted guests at the church. Afterwards there was a glamorous after party at the Gatsby, with music and dancing.

Jan said, “I’m overwhelmed with the local support. Fine & Country supports charities such as The Hospice of St Francis, which has a particular significance for me, to give back to our local communities.”

Carolyn Addison from The Hospice of St Francis added, “We are eternally grateful for people who support our cause. We couldn’t provide the care and service that we do without it. Thank you so much, you’ve raised over £7,500 – I’m over the moon!”
