Former soap actor and I’m a Celebrity participant Adam Thomas has left full time show business and is now working as an estate agent in Manchester, it has been revealed.
The 30-year old, who left Emmerdale eight months ago after appearing in 800 episodes of the show after joining in 2009, is now working for entrepreneur Adam Kamani (picture, top right) who, as well as founding fashion labels Boohoo and Pretty Little Thing, owns an extensive portfolio of residential properties in Manchester.
Adam will be working for Kamani in between acting jobs helping run his property empire and is called a Property Exec on his new business card, pictures of which he has been sharing on social media. He is pictured, above, in a white T-shirt with colleagues at his new employer Kamani Property Group.
His new job in property, according to company profile, includes that he “sources new potential acquisitions and assists with the management of both the residential and commercial sides of our portfolio.
“He regularly meets with contractors, potential tenants and suppliers, as well as appearing in the occasional promotional video.”
“I am working in the property industry in between jobs because as a jobbing actor you can be out of work, that’s just the nature of the business but I haven’t nor will I ever turn my back on acting,” he told fans on Instagram.
“But I have a family to support and will carry on doing so whether it be acting or otherwise.”
The father-of-two has been off screen for two years but will be appearing on stage in Liverpool next month in a panto called Nativity! The Musical.
