Kamma boss Orla Shields says the group will be offering support to Belvoir and brands Northwood, Newton Fallowell, Nicholas Humphreys and Lovelle.

HMO and selective licencing specialist Kamma has signed a deal with Belvoir that will see the geospatial technology firm offer all 340 offices access to Kamma’s 24/7 licence compliance services to help them keep up to date with local regulations.

Nearly 50 new schemes and consultations have launched throughout the UK in 2023 so far. Fines for rogue landlords in London alone have also surpassed £9.8 million and are on track to reach £10 million before the end of the year.

FULLY PROTECTED

The new partnership with Kamma will see all Belvoir Group franchisees and landlord customers become fully protected from fines.

Belvoir will also have access to Kamma’s Reporter service, a product that allows letting agents generate a report on a property’s characteristics, including its EPC and licensing requirements, to help win instructions and improve the overall customer experience.

Orla Shields (maim picture), Kamma Chief Executive, says: “Belvoir Group is known for its strong foothold in the property market and this partnership will help Belvoir stay on top of their licensing requirements, all whilst saving them time and protecting them against the risk of fines.”

COMPLIANCE SERVICES

Grace Milham, Belvoir Group Operations Director, adds: “We’re excited to be partnering with Kamma and offer their licensing compliance services to our agents.”

And she adds: “This partnership will help to increase standards in the private rented sector and remove complexity for our agents, allowing them to focus on providing an excellent service to their clients.”

The Neg reported last month that Kamma had signed a deal with Reapit that will help protect agents against Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) fines of up to £30,000 through automated property licensing solutions.

Last week Kamma won bronze for Supplier of the Year – Products and Services (Business) at The Negotiator Awards.
