Former Savills high-flyer launches buying agency with Strang connections
Charlotte Strang has worked for Savills since 2008 in both London and Bristol, but has kicked off her new business covering the SW.

A high-flying property industry figure has launched her own buying agency operating in some of the South West’s key property markets including Bristol, Bath, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
Charlotte Strang had for many years worked for Savills including as an Associate Director within the firm’s residential valuation operation at its London headquarters in Margaret Street, working on valuations of residential properties and mixed use developments within Prime Central London for loan security and taxation purposes.
In 2017, Charlotte then moved back to Bristol working as a Senior Development Surveyor for five years, where her new enterprise, Strang & Co, is also based.
Specialising primarily in residential sales, Strang & Co acts on behalf of vetted cash buyers who seek houses or flats, with budgets upwards of £600,000.
First briefs
Strang says she is already off to a flying start with search briefs to buy homes for a Bristol-based family seeking a large house in Clifton with a budget of up to £2.5million, whilst a mother and son from Canada are looking for a two-bedroom flat in Bristol up to £700,000, close to the university.
As a secondary service, Strang & Co also help time-poor tenants seek rental homes, which are predominantly off market.
“I am very excited to have launched my own buying agency,” she says. “It’s something that I had thought about doing for a few years, having witnessed great demand for properties in Bristol, Bath and the surrounding areas.
“This was particularly apparent following the pandemic, where I recognised how challenging it can be for purchasers to acquire the right property and avoid costly mistakes.”
