Hybrid estate agency HouseSimple is poised to launch a national roll-out of its ‘sell your home for free’ offer which is to include free listings on the main property portals and free ‘For Sale’ signs, it has been revealed.
The hybrid agency has also appointed a high-profile blue-chip London and Manchester PR and marketing firm Citypress the job of promoting the national roll-out which will include launching an integrated creative campaign mainly on digital platforms and social media across the UK.
The hybrid agency has been trying out the free offer in Yorkshire and the North West, but its ‘no catch’ free-to-use business model hasn’t won plaudits from traditional agents.
One took to Twitter last week to vent his anger at losing an instruction to HouseSimple in Manchester.
HouseSimple says the agency was picked following a competitive pitch for its experience with social media, content creation and gaining free publicity for its clients.
“We’re disrupting a very traditional market and needed a partner with bold, creative ideas to help us drive awareness, consideration and trust,” says Theo Hildebrand at HouseSimple.
Citypress has two other property clients – British Land and JLL – as well as a roster of famous UK brands including Coca-Cola, Unilever, Aldi and Halifax.
