Love2move launches on Valentines Day
A husband and wife have combined their expertise to launch a new online dating style estate agency service.
Property expert Mark Worrall and marketing professional Rachael pooled their knowledge to create love2move, an online estate agency with a twist, allowing local high street estate agents to offer fixed price online property sales of £895 without eroding their traditional service.
The couple, both 30, came up with the idea after moving house. Whilst they were able to rely on Mark’s expertise as Sales Director of Lancashire property marketing agency MovingWorks, they realised that others in their age group would be attracted to the cheaper online agents, losing out on valuable local knowledge that helps sellers to optimise their sale and buyers to make the right choices.
High street
Love2move’s service sits alongside the traditional high street agent’s existing offering, but is aimed at a separate market, predominately internet savvy ‘millennials’ looking to save money. The agency adopts the Tinder methodology of swipe and select so buyers can view potential houses by opening the Love2Move website on a phone or tablet, browsing properties and swiping the ones that match their requirements. They can then communicate directly with the seller through an online Chat function. Sellers have the opportunity to pay an additional fee to access other services, such as sales progression or help with negotiations.
Love2move launched on Valentine’s Day, with the initial service going live via MovingWorks covering Preston, Chorley, Burscough and Southport, with a national rollout planned using partner agents.
Like MovingWorks, all agents must be members of the NAEA Propertymark.
