Connells Land division announces two appointments in the Land & New Homes arena: Rob Mathewson becomes Board of Management Land Partner covering the A1 corridor, and Simon Wasley joins the company as Land Manager covering Essex and Suffolk.

Rob celebrated 20 years with Connells this year, having worked his way from his starting position in sales at the Harrow branch and has built up a broad knowledge base across all aspects of the housing industry. Simon has five years’ experience in rural and central London markets.

“I’m delighted to take up the Land role for Connells,” says Rob. “We have seen growing activity in the land and new homes market, especially in the areas I will be covering, and it is the right time to put in additional resources.”

Simon adds, “The market remains buoyant fuelled by the imbalance between supply and demand, and I look forward to using my previous experience and industry contacts helping Connells remain at the forefront of the market.
