Student lettings agency, Loc8me, has announcement the appointment of Wesley Brown as its new Chief Operating Officer.

The appointment was made with a focus on supporting future expansion, integrating recent acquisitions, and maintaining the high standards of service expected by landlords and students.

It follows sustained expansion for Loc8me, which has grown its presence through acquisitions and new locations in recent years.

The business now manages almost 10,000 student bedrooms across 19 university cities.

Our focus will be on continuing to strengthen our position as a market leader within the HMO sector.”

“As we look to the future, our focus will be on continuing to strengthen our position as a market leader within the HMO sector.

“We will achieve this through operational excellence, streamlined processes and scalable systems that support both continued growth in our existing cities and expansion into new locations.”

Investment in leadership

Founder of Loc8me, Raffaele Russo (main image, right), adds: “As we continue to grow, investing in experienced leadership is key to maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence and customer experience.

“Wes brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of scaling successful businesses, and I’m confident he will play a pivotal role in supporting our next phase of growth.”

The appointment comes as student landlords continue to adapt to the Renters’ Rights Act, with Loc8me warning that confusion around the new rules is leaving some landlords at risk of inadvertent non-compliance.
