Winkworth appoints Lawrence Brown to lead Pimlico office
Lawrence Brown takes up the role of Director at Winkworth’s Pimlico office, bringing extensive knowledge of the local market.
Winkworth has appointed Lawrence Brown as Director of its Pimlico office, bringing more than 20 years of experience across the UK property market.
The appointment marks a return to familiar territory for Lawrence, who previously lived in Pimlico for more than five years and spent a decade working in the local market. He will lead the office with a focus on building on Winkworth’s reputation across Pimlico and Westminster.
Brown began his career in lettings before joining Chestertons, where he became Area Director, overseeing 11 Prime Central London offices, including Pimlico. After spending time overseas, he returned to the property industry, holding senior positions at agencies across Devon, Cambridge and Essex.
His experience spans a broad range of property, from prime city apartments and waterfront developments to country houses and rural estates.

Strengthening local presence
Winkworth says the appointment will further strengthen its presence in Pimlico and Westminster. The area’s lettings market has continued to perform strongly, with several homes achieving record rental values, according to the agency’s Autumn 2026 Prime Central London Market Update.
